Vicious Antelope has released Vicious Saws, a Kontakt library designed for composers and producers seeking dark, cinematic synth tones. The library features six SAW oscillators engineered to deliver atmospheric and gloomy textures for film scoring and electronic music production.
Sound Design Features
The library provides precise control through essential sound shaping tools including ladder low-pass and high-pass filters, tube drive, delay, chorus, and reverb. Each oscillator can be fine-tuned independently, allowing for detailed texture crafting while maintaining an intuitive workflow.
Vicious Saws comes with 30 production-ready snapshots for immediate use in projects. The modulation wheel implementation adds expressive vibrato control, enhancing the sonic possibilities for dramatic arrangements.
The sound engine is built on 366 samples (24-bit/44.1kHz) in Kontakt's NCW format, with the complete soundbank utilizing approximately 292 MB of disk space when uncompressed.
