UVI released Aurora - Textured Piano

Aurora introduces a new dimension to piano sounds with its Creative Multi-Layer Engine, weaving together three distinct sonic elements: a concert grand piano, a dual-layer texture engine, and an atmosphere layer. Each layer offers extensive editing capabilities, allowing users to craft evocative new instruments with unique emotional qualities.

The heart of Aurora's piano sound is a world-class concert grand recorded at the renowned Guillaume Tell sound stage in Paris. This meticulously sampled piano provides an exceptionally natural playing experience, capturing the subtlest nuances of performances through deep-sampling techniques and advanced scripting.

Expanding beyond the piano's traditional sound, Aurora incorporates a diverse selection of textures and atmospheres. With categories including Attack, Keys, Machines, Nature, and more, users can explore dozens of custom-made sonic augmentations to enrich their compositions.

Aurora's deep sound design capabilities are further enhanced by individual editors for each of its three sound engines. These editors offer intuitive controls over source, amplitude, pitch, dynamics, and tone, while a dual LFO modulation engine and integrated Motion designer allow for precise manipulation and movement within patches.

The semi-modular effects engine in Aurora adds another layer of creativity to its sound palette. Three customizable effect slots, featuring options such as Drive, Tone, Flanger, and Convolver, along with dedicated Delay, Reverb, EQ, and Limiter effects, allow users to sculpt their sounds with over 50 preset chains available.

For quick and intuitive sound shaping, Aurora provides powerful one-knob controls on its main page, including Color, Dynamics, Mute, and Intensity. These parameters offer convenient performance controls, perfect for automation and experimentation.
