Virtual instrument manufacturer Spitfire Audio has released a new series in their Originals line: Keys, Modern, and Pop.
The Originals series is designed by Spitfire Audio to be user-friendly for composers. They are among the more affordable products offered by Spitfire Audio and are recommended as the next step after the free LABS series of instruments.
The newly released Original Keys/Modern/Pop each include a variety of sounds: keyboards for Original Keys, contemporary sound libraries for Original Modern, and sound samples necessary for pop music production for Original Pop.
Originals Keys features a range of keyboard sounds from an emotional grand piano to the warm Firewood Piano, the delicate Felt Piano, the classic Wurli, and the Cinematic Soft Piano. Notably, the Felt Piano samples the playing of jazz and classical pianist Gwilym Simcock.
Originals Modern is characterized by its experimental sounds and diverse libraries, including rare woodwind instruments and string instruments recorded using experimental playing techniques, as well as the felt piano, cimbalom, and percussion sounds performed by the Blue Devils.
Lastly, Originals Pop samples all the elements needed for pop music production. It includes the iconic '60s pop sound of the Mrs Mills Piano, strings recorded at Abbey Road Studio Two, the Wurlitzer keyboard, percussion, and pad sounds.
The retail price for the newly released Originals Keys/Modern/Pop is $145 each, with a bundle offer of $99 when purchased with other Originals series.
