schulz.audio has released Tonebreaker, a British blues overdrive plugin for macOS and Windows in VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX formats, at an introductory price of $49 (reg. $89).

Tonebreaker is powered by the developer's True Circuit Simulation technology, modeling every resistor, capacitor, transistor, diode, and op-amp at the component level to replicate the dynamic response, touch sensitivity, and harmonic character of the original hardware. Integrated speaker cabinet and amp room simulation place the sound in a mix-ready space without requiring external plugins. A dedicated dual processing mode runs two simulated units in stereo. The plugin operates at zero latency and is designed for both live tracking and studio use.
