Rockheyday has released Krum-C, a spectral dynamics compressor for Windows, available as a free standalone app and a full VST3 plugin at $7.99.
Krum-C is built around a soft-knee compression curve and smooth dynamics response, designed to deliver transparent peak control while keeping the natural character of the source intact. Attack, release, ratio, and a parallel mix control are all adjustable, making it suitable for both subtle bus glue and more hands-on compression work.
The plugin includes a dual-layer FFT analyzer (4096/8192, Blackman window) for input/output monitoring, alongside dual-layer LR peak metering. It supports 32-bit floating-point processing at sample rates from 44.1 to 96 kHz in VST3 mode. The standalone version adds drag-and-drop audio playback with loop support and WAV export in 16-bit or 24-bit.
