Bitwig has announced its first major update of 2024, Bitwig Studio 5.2.
This update introduces a new set of studio tools. The new compressor ‘Compressor+’ implements options ranging from standard compression models to multiband and VCA options that add analog-style saturation.
Additionally, the new EQ devices Focus, Sculpt, and Tilt are inspired by classic hardware models and quickly infuse inspiration into sound design.
Other enhancements include more precise editing shortcuts, dynamic beat detection, and hardware-accelerated graphics, all contributing to improved workflow.
Bitwig Studio 5.2 is currently in beta, and users with an active Upgrade Plan license can test the new features. For more details, refer to the Bitwig website.
