Orbitron Core includes Vintage Chorus, Tape Flanger, Phat Phaser, Infinite Combs, Liquid Filter, and Rotary Speaker effects. Each modulation type features three primary controls for Depth, Width, and Rate, plus two unique special controls for detailed adjustments and sonic customization.
The plugin aims to address what JMG Sound describes as "boring and lifeless sounds" by providing essential modulation tools in an accessible interface. Despite its simplified appearance, the company states that significant processing capabilities exist beneath the streamlined controls.
Upgrade Path and Pricing
Orbitron Core serves as an entry point to JMG Sound's modulation technology, with upgrade options to the full Orbitron plugin at preferential pricing. The complete version offers crossfading between four simultaneous modulation effects, blending capabilities, and expanded sound-shaping options.
Current pricing shows the plugin at €3 during a CyberMonday promotion, reduced from €12, with the discount running for approximately four days. A 15-day unlimited trial is available without restrictions.
Technical Features
The plugin operates with 64-bit internal audio processing and supports any sampling rate including 192 kHz and higher. Smart bypass functionality prevents clicks and compensates for latency during automation, while intelligent sleep mode reduces CPU usage when processing is unnecessary.
