Kush Audio Releases Clariphonic MK3 Mastering EQ Plugin

Kush Audio Releases Clariphonic MK3 Mastering EQ Plugin - AUDIO PLUGIN NEWS

High-End Analog EQ Emulation with Gain-Dependent Shelving

Kush Audio has released Clariphonic MK3, a mastering EQ plugin designed for brightness control and tonal shaping. The plugin combines processing algorithms from Kush's Magpha EQ with Clariphonic's gain-dependent shelving characteristics.

EQ Design and Features

Clariphonic MK3 features shelving corners that respond to gain adjustments, recreating the behavior of the hardware unit. The plugin matches the feature set of the Clariphonic MS hardware with one-to-one functionality. An XY control enables simultaneous adjustment of both parameters, designed to replicate the physical experience of using dual hardware knobs.

The Focus band now includes a Cut option for softening upper-midrange frequencies. This expands the original design's capabilities beyond the boost-only operation typical of Clariphonic processors.

Metering and Display

The plugin includes metering for precision adjustments during mastering work. A dynamic EQ graph display shows real-time frequency response with an on/off switch for the visual interface.

Technical Specifications

Clariphonic MK3 is available for $129, with upgrades priced at $79. Mac and Windows installers are available. The plugin is also included in the Kush Complete Bundle subscription. More information is available on The House of Kush website.
