DOTEC-AUDIO Releases DeeTrans Transformer Emulator Plugin

DOTEC-AUDIO Releases DeeTrans Transformer Emulator Plugin - AUDIO PLUGIN NEWS

Analog Transformer Modeling with Magnetic Saturation and Hysteresis

DOTEC-AUDIO has released DeeTrans, a transformer emulation plugin that models magnetic saturation, core loss, and hysteresis behavior. The plugin adds harmonics and analog characteristics to digital audio sources.

Transformer Circuit Modeling

DeeTrans recreates transformer circuit behavior including magnetic saturation effects and hysteresis. The modeling generates natural harmonics and soft distortion designed to add warmth and density to digital recordings. According to the developer, applying the plugin across multiple tracks can reduce phase-related blur and tighten the stereo image.

Control and Presets

The plugin provides one-click preset buttons for quick sound character selection. Seventeen detailed parameters allow adjustment of tone density, warmth, and low-end response. The interface balances quick access through presets with detailed control for precision adjustments.

Technical Specifications

DeeTrans supports VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX formats on Windows (64-bit) and macOS 10.12 or later (64-bit). The plugin has been tested with major DAWs including Ableton Live, Cubase, Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Studio One, and Reason.

DeeTrans is available for $30 during special pricing (regular price $50). The demo version includes full functionality with one second of silence every 30 seconds. Registration requires an internet connection. More information is available on the DOTEC-AUDIO website.
