Épica Audio Introduces Trinity: 3-Band EQ with Harmonic Saturation - AUDIO PLUGIN NEWS

Precision Equalization Plugin with Built-In Distortion

Épica Audio has released Trinity, a 3-band equalizer featuring integrated harmonic saturation designed to add warmth and depth to mixes. Each band includes built-in harmonic distortion for smooth, musical tone shaping.

Design and Sound Character

Trinity uses a state-variable filter algorithm with three independent band-pass processing bands that blend seamlessly. The plugin dynamically adjusts to audio input for responsive, natural tone shaping while maintaining transparent processing with minimal phase distortion. Gentle saturation inspired by Épica's Drivedown distortion engine infuses warmth and personality into every mix.

Practical EQ Control

The plugin addresses low frequencies for punch and clarity, mid frequencies for vocal and instrument definition, and high frequencies for brightness and detail. Three-band design prevents unnatural peaks or dips while preserving harmonic character.

Technical Specifications

Trinity runs on macOS (High Sierra and later) and Windows 10 and later in VST3, AU, and AAX formats. Compatible DAWs include Pro Tools 12+, Ableton Live 10+, Cubase 10+, WaveLab 10+, Logic Pro, and GarageBand. The plugin offers zero latency on recording tracks.

Availability

Trinity is priced at $39.99 and includes a 30-day free demo.
