Polarity Audio has introduced Amperial - The Alpha, a new guitar amp simulation plugin that leverages AI-based amp profiling technology to capture the authentic character of analog amplifiers.
The plugin features a comprehensive IR cabinet section with 19 microphone types, allowing precise tone shaping through various mic placement options. A built-in Doubler effect provides stereo enhancement capabilities for creating wide, full-bodied guitar sounds.
Professional Effects Chain
Amperial - The Alpha comes equipped with four high-quality pre-pedal effects, including a compressor, dual overdrive units, and a chorus module. The signal chain is further enhanced by an ultra-clean digital delay with analog saturation characteristics and an atmospheric shimmer space reverb.
Performance and Compatibility
The plugin delivers responsive playability with natural harmonics and dynamic sensitivity, making it suitable for professional guitarists, producers, and sound designers across various genres.
Amperial - The Alpha is available for both Windows and Mac platforms, supporting VST3 (64-bit) on Windows and VST3/AU formats on Mac, including native Apple Silicon support. The plugin requires a minimum of 4GB RAM and 2GB of free hard drive space.
