Amplifikation ARKHIVE Delivers Professional Amp Simulation for Modern Production - AUDIO PLUGIN NEWS

Kuassa has introduced Amplifikation ARKHIVE, a comprehensive guitar amplifier plugin that recreates the iconic MK5 amplifier's distinctive characteristics. The plugin delivers three unique amp types, each featuring three channels with distinct voicing options and integrated graphic EQ.

Versatile Amp Architecture

The plugin's architecture incorporates three distinct amplifier models. Amp A specializes in clean tones with Clean, Fat, and Tweed voicings. Amp B focuses on aggressive sounds through Edge, Crunch, and classic Overdrive channels. Amp C caters to heavy high-gain applications with powerful extreme mode capabilities.

Professional Recording Features

ARKHIVE includes five cabinet types with matched impulse responses and nine microphone options. Users can create realistic recording setups using dual-microphone configurations with mono or stereo output options. The plugin also features Sag and Bias controls in the power amp section, along with built-in noise gate and limiter functionality.

Sound Shaping Controls

The five-band equalizer provides precise tonal control, complemented by low pass and high pass filters. Each amp section includes unique 'Mod' variations, expanding the tonal palette further. The plugin supports up to 8x oversampling for enhanced sound quality.
