Signature Plugin Combines Advanced Harmonization with Premium Amp Models

Neural DSP has launched Archetype: Tim Henson X, a comprehensive guitar processing suite designed in collaboration with the Polyphant guitarist. The plugin delivers an extensive collection of modeled amps and effects aimed at recreating Henson's distinctive tones.

Innovative Harmonization

At the core of the plugin is the Multivoicer, an intelligent harmonization engine that can add up to four pitch-shifted voices. The system supports both MIDI-controlled harmonization and built-in voicing presets, offering harmonic minor and melodic minor scale options for expanded tonal possibilities.

Amplifier Selection

The suite features three meticulously modeled amplifiers:

• Roses: A bright, harmonically rich amp ideal for acoustic tones
• Cherubs: A British-voiced dual-channel amp for clean to crunch sounds
• Pink: A dynamic lead amplifier for heavier tones

Professional Cabinet Simulation

The cabinet section includes 324 impulse responses captured by Adam "Nolly" Getgood, with six virtual microphones and extensive positioning options. Users can also load their own impulse responses and utilize stereo configurations with independent microphone controls.

Comprehensive Effects Suite

The plugin includes both pre and post effects, featuring a boost with 2-band EQ, compressor, overdrive, chorus, delay with multiple modes, and reverb. Additional utilities include a transpose function, doubler, built-in tuner, and metronome.
