Techivation has released M-De-Esser 2, a significant upgrade to their spectral de-essing processor. This new version introduces adaptive processing technology and AI-powered mix assistance to provide more precise sibilance control.

The plugin utilizes improved spectral processing algorithms to address harsh sibilance while preserving the natural characteristics of the audio. Its adaptive processing range automatically adjusts to incoming signals, reducing the need for manual parameter tweaking.
Intelligent Mix Assistant
M-De-Esser 2 features an AI Mix Assistant that analyzes audio content and suggests optimal settings for sibilance control. This intelligent system helps users achieve professional results quickly while maintaining full control over final parameter adjustments.

The processor extends beyond vocal applications, offering effective de-essing for drums, percussion, and other instruments. Users can tame excessive high frequencies in various sound sources while maintaining clarity and presence. The optional Air control allows for brightness restoration when applying heavy processing.

M-De-Esser 2 is available for $129.00 ($45.00 through February 20, 2025) and supports VST, VST3, AU, and AAX formats on both Windows and macOS, including native Apple Silicon compatibility.
