Synchron Duality Strings (fx): Two-Stage Experimental String Effects Library

Dual-Stage String Effects Library Combines Ambient and Direct Recording Spaces

VSL introduces Synchron Duality Strings (fx), a collection of string effects recorded in their Synchron Stage facility. This library focuses on experimental string techniques captured in two distinct recording spaces, providing composers with new textural possibilities.

Recording Configuration

The collection features two string ensembles recorded simultaneously - a larger group in Stage A and a chamber-sized ensemble in Stage B. The synchronized recording process allows users to blend the characteristic sound of both spaces, combining Stage A's ambient quality with Stage B's direct response.

Sound Palette

Synchron Duality Strings (fx) includes specialized playing techniques captured in both spaces. The library contains clusters, glissandos, measured vibrato, vertical bowing, and behind-bridge techniques. These sonic elements serve as resources for contemporary classical music, film scoring, and sound design applications.
