GForce Releases VSM IV, a Collection of 46 Rare Classic String Machines

[Monthly Mixing] GForce has launched Virtual String Machine IV (VSM IV), featuring sounds from 46 classic string machines, now available as a virtual instrument.

VSM IV comes five years after the release of VSM v3 in 2019. It includes sounds from 46 renowned classic brands such as ARP, Korg, Moog, Oberheim, Roland, and Yamaha.

Users can blend different string machines using two layers to create innovative sounds. Moreover, over 1,900 presets, including 200 new patches, are provided.

The updated version offers resizable UI and browser features. Vintage texture can be achieved with Wow and Flutter controls. Additionally, new effects like filters, 3-band EQ, chorus, and reverb have been added. Expanded poly aftertouch and velocity controls enhance player performance and expression.
